There are many, many great books and toys, but I don’t have the patience or initiative (i.e., I’m lazy and tired) to look for them myself. So I rely on recommendations from teachers and friends, or I just copy what other people have in their homes.
I would like to return the favor and share the books and toys that I love. Or rather take credit for other people’s wonderful finds. I’m going to stick to what I consider hidden treasures… everyone knows how great Eric Carle and E. B. White are, and that kids love Magna-tiles, but there are many less-well known authors and toys out there. I’ll post about our favorites.
